THE CREWS ARE REMOVING HOLIDAY DECORATIONS AND PERFORMING LEAF REMOVAL AS BEST THEY CAN AROUND THE PARKS. ON THE WATER SIDE, I'M SURE I SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD, BUT THE AVERAGE WATER PRODUCTION AT THE TREATMENT PLANT THIS PAST WEEK WAS 3 MILLION GALLONS A DAY. SO AGAIN, MUCH MORE NORMALIZED THAN WHAT WE SEE IN THE SUMMER. AND THEN FINALLY WASTEWATER. OUR OUR STAFF'S BEEN BUSY. SO WHEN WE LOOK AT THIS, ALTHOUGH WE'RE LOOKING AT A PROJECT EXPENSE HERE, IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, IT'S AN ENDEAVOR TO BE STRATEGIC AND SPEND WISELY. YEAH, THAT'S THAT'S JUST WANT TO SAY THAT POINT. YES. THAT'S

SO KUDOS TO PROTECTING THAT MOVING FORWARD, THOUGH, AS WE DO, THE DEDICATION OF THE HOME. I'VE BEEN FORTUNATE TO SERVE THIS WONDERFUL COMMUNITY FOR 15 YEARS, AND THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER IN MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER. THERE WILL BE MORE TO COME ON THE PROCESS, WHICH WILL BEGIN IN THE COMING WEEKS AND MONTHS. I'M EXCITED ABOUT BEING A PART OF THAT AS WELL, BUT OUR MAIN FOCUS WILL BE TO MAKE THIS CITY THE BEST IT CAN POSSIBLY BE. AND AND I LOOK FORWARD TO THAT TRANSITION FOR OUR COMMUNITY. WE HAD PURCHASED THE PRODUCTS FOR THE ALDERSGATE RESTROOM AND THAT WAS APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL. SO WE'LL NEED A CONTRACTOR TO HIRE TO BUILD THIS, AND THEN WE'LL RUN WATER AND SEWER TO IT. WE PURCHASED PURCHASED MERIDIAN GATES TO USE FOR PROTECTION OF BLOCKED OFF ROADWAYS AT CITY EVENTS. SO WE WON'T HAVE TO USE VEHICLES, FILL CONTAINERS WITH WATER.

WE'RE ALSO INCLUDING ALIGNMENT WITH THE FEDERAL CODE ADDRESSING ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGES AND OR BYPASSES TO THE SANITARY SYSTEM, FROM THE INDUSTRIAL USER TO. WE'RE ALSO GOING TO INCLUDE CERTIFICATION LANGUAGE, WHERE EACH OF THESE INDUSTRIAL USERS, WHEN THEY SUBMIT REPORTS AND SAMPLING ANALYSIS, THEY HAVE TO CERTIFY THOSE. WE'VE MADE A FEW UPDATES TO THIS SECTION THAT REQUIRES FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS AND COMMERCIAL USERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM, WHICH WOULD INCLUDE CLEANING THEIR GREASE TRAPS OR GREASE INTERCEPTORS AT LEAST ANNUALLY. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME THAT WE HAVE APPROACHED OVER THE LAST YEAR THAT THEY HAVEN'T CLEANED THEM AT ALL. SO WE'RE WE'RE WORKING WITH THEM TO, TO MAINTAIN THEIR, THEIR, THEIR GREASE DISCHARGE. SO I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE.
